Introductory Flights

Introductory flights are conducted from the airport at Hope and are intended to introduce anyone interested in the sport of soaring to the joys of un-powered flight. For further information download our club Brochure.

The costs of an Introductory Flight is $168.00 for 20 to 30 minutes of gliding, This price includes tow fees and and daily membership of the club.

Flights exceeding the specified time are charged extra at the Visiting pilot hourly rate.

Training Packages

$614.88 for 5 Instructional Flights (20 to 30 minutes each), includes 5 tows, 2 daily memberships and a student log book. A credit of $78.40 will be granted towards subsequent purchase of  Flying Membership in the same year.

Flat Rate Plan $1002.40 for unlimited flying for the season.
12 Hour Plan $668.64 for up to 12 hours flying during the season. (Additional hours are charged at $34.72/hour.)
4 Hour Plan (private owners only) $268.80 for up to 4 hours flying during the season. (Additional hours are charged at $61.60/hour.)
Visiting pilots and course participants $67.20/hour
